On the evening of Dec. 17, the Women’s Leadership Initiative gathered for its annual midway dinner. The venue, 1860 Public House in Red Bud, exuded warmth and elegance, dressed for the holiday, setting the stage for participants to share a delightful meal. Amidst engaging conversations, attendees reflected on their personal growth and the empowering impact of the program, celebrating their achievements and the journey ahead.
State Representative David Friess welcomed the team to the occasion, and he asked a poignant question of all those present. He wondered how the program had impacted them positively and whether there were any ways to improve.
