Leroy E. Wachtel, 87, of Red Bud, passed away at 5:10 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, at Randolph County Care Center in Sparta. It was Leroy’s wish to be cremated, and a private inurnment will take place at St. Marcus Cemetery in Red Bud. Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud is in charge of arrangements.
