It was mostly just updates for the county commissioners at their meeting on July 31.
County Engineer Grant Deterding was not in attendance at the meeting, so Board Chairman David Holder read Deterding’s report.
He noted that the highway department crews have been continuing their second round of mowing, and will be doing another full right of way mowing this fall. They have also been assisting Road District 3 with chip sealing work. And they still plan on doing oil and chip work on County Highway 9 near Tilden and the remainder of County Highway 22 south of Percy.
