Raymond Edward Mavers, 96, of Red Bud, passed away at 3:57 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at his residence. The visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 28 and from 9-10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 29 at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud. The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 29 at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church in Hecker with Fr. Linus Umoren and Fr. Iuvenis Iheme officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at the church cemetery.
