The Southern Illinois Coaches Association (SICA) recently announced the All-South teams along with Coach of the Year in each class. For the second consecutive year, Red Bud High School Coach Brock Quigley was chosen Coach of the Year for Class 1A boys golf.
Quigley’s 2025 Musketeer team won the Class 1A regional championship at The Acorns with this being the first in 27 years for the program. They advanced to the Effingham sectional where they secured the top spot to advance to state. The team finished with a record of 149-37 which broke the golf season total wins record. The team also broke the 18 holes record low twice in the 2025 season. In addition to this honor, all six players of Quigley’s 2025 team were named All-South.
