Congressman Mike Bost paid a surprise visit to the Kaskaskia Regional Port District on Dec. 23 to give special recognition to Ed Weilbacher.
Weilbacher is retiring at the end of the month as the general manager of the port district, which is a position he has served in for the past 14 years.
With members of the KRPD board on hand, Bost presented Weilbacher with an official Congressional Record marking his nearly 40 years of service.
