NAMED ALL SOUTH– The Southern Illinois Coaches Association (SICA) recently announced the All-South golf teams. The Class 1A team included six members of the Musketeer varsity team. This is the first team in SICA history to place all six golfers on this competitive list. The team’s most recent picture is with PGA golfer Jay Delsing at the Metro East Podcast they participated in recently. The six chosen All-South include from left: sophomore Lane Diewald, freshmen Blake Marcheski, Porter Donjon and Draedan Duncan; junior Jack Muench and senior Kruz Koester.
The Musketeer boys golf team recently received notification that all six members of the varsity team were chosen to the Southern Illinois Coaches Association (SICA) Class 1A team. No other team in SICA history has had all six golfers named to this competitive list. Team members include senior Kruz Koester, junior Jack Muench, sophomore Lane Diewald and freshmen Porter Donjon, Draedan Duncan and Blake Marcheski.
“All six of these guys had the goal and expectation to be named to this list. They are a very hardworking and determined group of young men and they absolutely deserve this recognition,” said Coach Brock Quigley.
