Updates and appointments were the biggest part of the Nov. 21 Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting.
Former commissioner Marc Kiehna was on hand to discuss the Energy Transition Communities Grant with the current commissioners.
“We have received quite a few grant dollars for the work at the care center,” Kiehna reported. “We are fortunate that we are eligible for these grants.”
Progress on the work at the care center is continuing, with plans to move into phase two in January. “We had bid openings this week,” Kiehna continued. “We were pleased with the way the bids came back and are looking forward to work starting.”
