A special meeting was held by the Red Bud Board of Education on Nov. 3 to fill a vacancy on the board.
At their regular September meeting, the board said their farewells to board member James Hohgrefe, who had moved and was now no longer eligible to serve on the board.
Board President Todd Birkner noted that they had talked to a lot of people about who to add to the board, and Alan Mueth topped the list. So Monday night, they welcomed Mueth to the board.
