The 2025 Musketeer volleyball team wrapped up a successful and historic season beginning with a 32-5 record, the second best in school history. A conference championship hadn’t been won since 2017, but a 10-0 conference record this year put the team at the top of the Illinois Division of the Cahokia Conference. All of this is a testament of how much this team has grown, learned and worked together.
Red Bud hosted the regional last week and received a first round bye. They played Alton Marquette on Oct. 28, winning 25-17, 25-7 to advance to the championship against Althoff Catholic. Red Bud came into the regional as the second seed and Althoff, the third. The Lady Musketeers were ready for the challenge.
