The Red Bud VFW Post recently presented 50 year membership pins to three local veterans that have been members of the post for more than 50 years. Commander Clarence Nail, center, is pictured presenting the pins to Jim Cowell, left, and Roger Hanebutt. Not pictured is Gary Hentis. Nail noted that all three joined the Red Bud VFW Post after returning from service during the Vietnam War.
