TEACHER OF THE MONTH–The Teacher of the Month for January was Lara Vause of St. John’s Lutheran School. She is pictured with some of her students and Brian Guebert of Edward Jones.
Lara Vause was named the Teacher of the Month for January by Brian Guebert of Edward Jones Investments in Red Bud, sponsor of the program.
Vause has taught at St. John’s Lutheran School for four years. She currently is the school’s resource teacher.
Previously, she taught second through fifth grade in South Carolina, Virginia and Illinois, was an early childhood educator for the Monroe County Regional Office of Education and was a substitute teacher.
