Last week, members of Red Bud Girl Scout Troop 8304 made 10 patriotic themed fleece tie blankets. These blankets were presented to Red Bud VFW Auxiliary President Kathryn Rowold to be taken on one of the Auxiliary’s upcoming trips to Jefferson Barracks Hospital. In addition to the blankets, the Girl Scouts made cards to give to the veterans at the hospital, thanking them for their service, and they also donated several boxes of Girl Scout cookies to the Auxiliary and VFW.
