
On Dec. 2, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department reported that they had charged six individuals in connection with the Nov. 10 vehicle theft off Kaskaskia Road.
In the original incident, deputies noted that between 10 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 4 a.m. on Nov. 10, the home’s garage had been burglarized, with several tools and other items missing, along with a 2020 Ford F250 pickup stolen. The truck was later located abandoned in a vacant warehouse in St. Louis, Missouri. As the investigation continued, additional stolen property from the garage was recovered.
Charged with vehicle theft conspiracy and conspiracy (burglary) were: Michael A. Tucker, 55, of Peoria; Robert J. Hart, Jr., 37, of Collinsville; Robert J. Hart, Sr., 55, of Collinsville; Mark Bowers, 43, of Collinsville; Jessica A. Hart, 34, of Collinsville; and Charlene A. Hart, 53, of Collinsville.
