Seventh at Lutheran State

The St. John’s Lutheran boys basketball team placed seventh at the Lutheran Sports Association tournament held in Chicago March 6-8. The boys won their first game on Friday against Bethel Lutheran, Morton. On Saturday they played the first seed team of Christ Lutheran, Peoria, and were defeated. The third game was played against TSJ/ILS of Nashville and they were defeated by the fifth placed team. The final game for seventh place was against St. John’s, Lombard, which they won in a very close game, 46-43, The seventh place win for St. John’s Lutheran School was the best their boys have done in this tournament. Chase Lucht was chosen to be on the All Tournament team.
