Due to the pandemic and students not attending classes in person since mid-March, graduations this year were considerably different.
This week is normally when many of the area elementary schools would hold their commencement ceremonies for their eighth graders, and while some are still are holding on to the hope of an in-person ceremony at a later date, others have planned virtual ceremonies.
