Sparta Community Chorus will soon present the hilarious Neil Simon play, Rumors! Under the direction of Arron Martel, Rumors takes place at a large townhouse belonging to the deputy mayor of New York where four couples have arrived to celebrate the deputy mayor and his wife’s 10th wedding anniversary.
Much to their surprise, the guests discover that there are no servants on duty, the hostess is missing and their host has shot himself. Although it is only a flesh wound, the guests must get their stories straight and do whatever possible to conceal the evening’s events from the local police and the media.
This hilarious farce will have everyone rolling in their seats with laughter.
