The Illinois Department of Transportation has postponed their closure of a section of State Route 3 within Red Bud.
As part of a re-surfacing project, IDOT will close a section of West Market Street (State Route 3) from Rock to Spring Streets in Red Bud. (For reference points, this stretch of road is between HanDee Mart and Portraits by Cindy.)
The closure was originally scheduled for Nov. 14-16, then rescheduled for Dec. 5-7, and last week it was announced that the work has now been postponed until spring 2021. The new dates for the closure have not been announced yet.
