Tickets are now available for the Southwestern Illinois Regional Leadership and Development Committee’s spring Regional Leaders Breakfast on Thursday, April 4 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church Hall in Ruma.
Continuing with community revitalization ideas presented at the fall breakfast, the spring theme is “Enhancing Randolph County’s Main Streets.” Keynote speaker will be Sara McGibany, executive director of Alton Main Street. Alton has very successfully engaged their community in renewing their historic downtown district and Mississippi River heritage with both economic and social development.
Also on hand to answer questions after the breakfast will be Erika Kennett, from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and Greg Bouhl, from the Small Business Development Center of Southern Illinois University.
Regional Leaders Breakfast tickets are $15 per person and must be purchased in advance. For more information or to register by phone, contact Sandy Donjon at 618-615-5784 or email email@example.com. The registration deadline is Wednesday, March 27.
