A “Run in the Bud” cross country event will take place at the Red Bud Athletic Association ball diamonds and North County Country Club. Part 1 is scheduled for Oct. 8 and Part 2 on Oct. 15.
Participating schools include Red Bud, Valmeyer, Dupo and Metro East Lutheran.
This will be the first time in many years a race has ran at this location. The race will begin and end at the Red Bud Athletic Association ball diamonds. The majority of the race will occur on the North County Country Club golf course for 2.8 miles.
