The Randolph County YMCA was happy to announce that the Red Bud pool was able to reopen on Monday, June 29.
Those wanting to swim though will need to take note of some changes.
Hours for the pool have changed to allow for regular cleaning and sanitation. There will be two swim sessions, 12-3 p.m. and 4-7 p.m.
Due to current regulations, which only allow gathering of up to 50 people, advance reservations to swim are highly recommended in order to avoid the possibility of being turned away due to the pool being at capacity.
Current YMCA members can make reservations in the member app. Those who are not members will need to call the pool at 618-282-2898 to reserve a time.
Reservations for swim times cannot be made more than 48 hours in advance.
Pool passes, as well as daily swim passes, are still available like they are every year.
