NEW DECORATIONS–Red Bud Beautification recently purchased and set up a new 22 foot Christmas tree and holiday greeting sign. These are located in the lot next to Stenzel Chiropractic.
Most can agree that for the holidays, Red Bud can be best described as a “Hallmark” looking holiday town, drawing in people to check out all the festive decorations and displays.
The driving force behind the beauty is the Red Bud Beautification Committee. They’ve been hard at work for many years making Red Bud look good and have plenty of plans for the future.
Red Bud Beautification started back in 1995 as Kenny and Joan Voges renovated the Ziebold Building in downtown Red Bud. This kicked off lots of conversations and ideas for other ways to improve downtown and the rest of Red Bud.
The original committee was a side group from the Chamber of Commerce and consisted of Andrea Jenkins, Reda Guebert, Glenn Gielow and Justine Liefer, although they enlisted the help of many others over the years.
Now, the current committee members are Cole Stenzel, Matt Shields, Pam Wegener, Rebecca Cooper and Quinn Johnson, with Angie Rahn as a part time member.
