RB City Council held special meeting Monday

A brief special meeting was held by the Red Bud City Council, following their committee meetings on Monday, Jan. 20.

The biggest items on the evening’s agenda were a supplemental appropriation ordinance and authorization to make a payment of $127,875, both for the fire department’s new fire truck.

This matter was originally discussed at the council’s regular meeting held on Jan. 6, when the fire department asked the city to pay for part of a new rescue pumper truck to replace two older trucks.
