New KRPD Board Member

Governor Pritzker recently announced the appointment of Mr. Mark Chatham of Freeburg to the Kaskaskia Regional Port District representing St. Clair County. Chatham retired from the Steamfitters Local 439 after 20 years. He is currently president of the Southwestern Illinois Building Trades Council Delegates. Chatham joins the 15 member board that oversees the direction of port activities in a three county area consisting of St. Clair, Monroe and Randolph Counties in Illinois. All Kaskaskia Regional Port District directors are governor appointed and senate confirmed. The Kaskaskia Regional Port District serves both the Mississippi and Kaskaskia Rivers in southwestern Illinois and has five different terminal locations.
