Musketeers split action last week

Red Bud started last week in Marissa looking to improve their conference record. Before this game, the team sat at 2-4 in the conference. 

Caleb Langrehr started the game, going four innings while giving up ten hits, eight runs, and striking out three. 

Red Bud got off to a strong start offensively by scoring five runs in the first two innings. The Meteors scored one run in the second inning before a big third inning. In the bottom of the third, Marissa hung six runs on the Musketeers to take a 7-5 lead. 

After the Meteors added one run in the fourth, Red Bud came up with a big top half of the fifth. Austin Melliere and Brandon Voss came up with multiple RBIs to help the Musketeers score five runs in the inning. This brought the score to 10-8.
