Are you ready for some football? It’s time to strap on the equipment and take the field as the Musketeers get ready for the 2019 football season. Friday night is the annual Maroon and White Scrimmage. The event pits the top offensive and defensive players on the team to get a final look at personnel and make any final decisions before the season opener next week. Although many decisions have been made, several positions are still open as well as finalizing the depth chart.
On the topic of depth, head coach Dave Lucht commented earlier this week that “we are big and strong, but depth may be a weakness”.
The festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday night with a minicamp for the Muskets and continues with the varsity finishing at 9 p.m. The event is also a fundraiser for the program with food available so show up early and hungry.
