The Red Bud Chamber of Commerce will again host their “Decorate a Lamp Post Contest” this fall.
Any individual, business or organization is invited to participate in the event and decorate one of the city’s lamp posts.
Lamp posts are first come, first served and must be reserved prior to decorating by calling Chamber Directors Twyla Schulte at 618-973-2979 or Tami Pautler at 618-340-2785. (Please take into consideration when selecting a lamp post that some businesses may want to decorate a post in front of or near their business.)
Decorations for the lamp posts should be fall themed and in good taste. No scary or offensive decorations will be allowed – the chamber reserves the right to remove any decorations deemed as inappropriate.
