The owners of D & R Service at 1190 S. Main in Red Bud have decided to retire. The neighbors at Hi-Way Motor Company have acquired the property and are planning to expand their business. Ron and Diane, from D & R, would like to thank the customers they have enjoyed meeting through the years. They are happy they were able to serve them since Ron opened a shop in 1966. After 54 years and three months, Ron and Diane will hand the keys over to Jared, at right, and Randy Horrell on Aug. 31. (original photo edited)
