CITIZEN OF ACHIEVEMENT–Jerry Moll was named the 2019 Citizen of Achievement at the Red Bud Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner held March 7 at the Opera House Bistro. “Thanks a million,” a surprised Jerry Moll told those in attendance at last Saturday’s annual Chamber of Commerce dinner after he had been named as the 2019 Citizen of Achievement. “I really appreciate it.”
In her speech announcing who the honored citizen was, Chamber President Twyla Schulte stated, “Have you ever wondered who the gentleman is in the white truck parked at the square in Red Bud, with a tool box open, tailgate down, tools laying by the side, running in and out of this building and that building, on a ladder, painting the columns or trim at the Opera House? Never complaining; just thinking, planning, doing, problem-solving, repairing, renovating and improving the downtown area known as ‘the square?’ Well, that man is Jerry Moll, and the 2019 Red Bud Citizen of the Year.”
