
Randolph County State’s Attorney Jeremy Walker was presented the Prosecutor Award at the 28th annual Southwestern Illinois Law Enforcement Commission (SILEC) and the Southern Illinois Police Chief’s Association (SIPCA) Awards Banquet last week.
SILEC/SIPCA note that their awards program is designed to “provide recognition to the men and women who work in the profession of law enforcement and who have made significant contributions toward enhancing the profession of law enforcement. We are also recognizing individual citizens who have displayed acts of good citizenship by assisting law enforcement agencies in our seven counties of Bond, Clinton, Madison, Monroe, Randolph, St. Clair and Washington.”
This year’s awards banquet was held at the Sheraton Four Points in Fairview Heights on Jan. 23.
