While the official Scouting for Food collection drive was canceled this year, a group of youth from Red Bud, along with their parents, are still collecting food donations to go to the food pantry at ComWell (formerly the Human Service Center). Despite the cold rain last Saturday, these youth traveled door to door to pass out food donation bags. The youth followed safety guidelines by wearing masks, staying in small groups and not having direct contact with community members. This Saturday, Nov. 21, the youth will again be out in the community to collect the filled donation bags. Those wanting to donate should leave their canned or non-perishable food donations (no glass) outside by 9 a.m. Please make sure filled donation bags are visible from the street.
