St. Anne’s Council of Catholic Women at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud met Oct. 6 at the church for their annual baby shower with the collected donations going to Life Network in Waterloo/Red Bud. Michelle Schweiger, a nurse from Life Network, gave the group a brief update of what has been going on at their center. This year the group asked the congregation to donate items for the baby shower and they were able to collect a sizable amount.
