ComWell Executive Director Shea Haury has been named vice chair of one of Illinois’ top behavioral health trade associations.
Haury has been a dedicated member of the Illinois Association for Behavioral Health (IABH) since 2016, shortly after joining as the executive director of ComWell, formerly Human Service Center of Southern Metro East.
Haury’s time with the association has proven her commitment to serving their efforts. She began as a member at large of the general board. She has served on the executive board, public policy committee, as well as the mental health practice committee.
“I serve because small providers in rural areas need a voice too,” Haury said. “It is our responsibility to educate legislators to create informed policy decisions related to the unique struggles that rural behavioral health providers face.”
