Jeff and Sarah Birkner, of Waterloo, are proud to announce the birth of their son, Griffin Thomas Birkner. He was born at 12:04 p.m. on Aug. 6, 2020 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He weighed 9 lbs. and was 20.5 inches long. He joins two sisters, Brooke, age 8, and Elise, age 5.
The maternal grandparents are Tom and Diana Bievenue of Evansville. The paternal grandparents are Beth and Randy Timmons of Waterloo and Gary and Patty Birkner of New Athens. His great-grandmother is Wilma Holcomb of Waterloo.
