While the annual Rendezvous event was unable to be held this past weekend, Fort de Chartres still received recognition this week for having placed in several categories in River Travel Magazine’s Best of the River Road Contest for 2020.
This year, Fort de Chartres Historic Site placed in six different categories. They were: third in Attraction (Family); third in Fort; second in Free Activity; third in Historic Site; second in Interpretive Center; and third in Best Kept Secret On The River.
Lisa’s Market Street Grille in Prairie du Rocher also did very well this year, placing in four categories. They were: third in Buffet; second in Friendliest Restaurant; third in Home Style Cooking; and second in Pie.
