Randolph County Clerk Melanie L. Johnson was announced that as of Thursday, Feb. 21, voters can cast their ballot early for the April 2 consolidated election. On the ballot are local races – city and village positions, library and fire districts, school boards, etc.
Early voting will be conducted in the county clerk’s office at the Randolph County Courthouse in Chester during regular office hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from now through Monday, April 1st. Saturday voting will be available on March 30thfrom 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Johnson stated that ballots cast during the early voting time period will be processed at the county clerk’s office on election day and will not be tallied until after the polls close and all Randolph County precincts’ returns have been made public.
