Evansville Attendance Center had a good showing at the SIJHSAA 2020 Girls Class S Cross Country Regionals held in Marissa, with three girls placing in the top 10.
Lily Tejada placed first with a time of 13:43 and Chloe Adams came in fifth with a time of 13:57. Both will be advancing to the state competition to be held in DuQuoin on Friday, Oct. 23.
Courtney Drake also placed in the top 10, with an eighth place finish and a time of 14:03. Unfortunately, with the number of participants at state being limited, Drake barely (by a second) missed advancing to state. (The top team and the top five runners not on the team advance to state.)
