For the first time in the history of Red Bud Elementary, the school’s Beta Club participated in the national convention.
This year, over 12,000 Beta members in grades 4-12 represented their schools in the first ever virtual National Beta Convention. The participants competed in various academic and talent competitions.
Tyrus Carter, who is pictured wearing his lucky sock cap, tested in the eighth grade social studies competition. He placed first over all national competitors.
This awesome accomplishment is a part of 2020 history and the RBES Beta Club sponsors Sara Finch, Matt Fisher and Jill Miesner couldn’t be prouder.
