While some communities have started an “adopt a senior” movement on social media in an effort to honor their high school senior students, those wanting to participate should use caution.
Red Bud High School Principal Rob Pipher has noted that the “Adopt a Senior Red Bud IL” group currently on Facebook is not affiliated with Red Bud High School in any way.
The school has no way to monitor the safety and accountability of this group and any of its participants.
For those that would like to help or honor the Class of 2020, but are unsure what to do, Pipher suggested making donations towards the Musketeer Market.
