Roger and Marie Fries will celebrate their 73rd wedding anniversary on Oct. 25. They were married Oct. 25, 1947 in Prairie du Rocher. They are the parents of Diana Eggerding (who passed away on Sept. 1, 1999), Larry (Artann) Fries of Ellis Grove and Deb (David) Ellner of rural Prairie du Rocher. They are the grandparents of 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren. Roger and Marie reside in rural Modoc and enjoy their home and their yard. Congratulations to a very special couple from their family and friends.
